The boys started T-ball yesterday. They had a great time and were very excited about it. Their team in the Incredibles and has kids 3-6 on it. Spencer has really been wanting to play ball and was very upset when we missed the Little League deadline. A friend in the ward coaches this team. It's perfect since both boys can go together!
Drew had so much fun! He opened an early birthday present and got a baseball glove just before we went to practice. He was so proud of it! While Drew batted, Spencer was right there, ready to grab the ball and put it back on the tee for him.
I think Spencer hit every ball. He was thrilled to finally get to play ball! Way to go Spencer!
The boys stayed close together while they took their turn fielding the ball. It was good for Drew to be able to hang out with Spencer and watch the good example his brother set.
This morning while Travis was taking Spencer to school, out of the blue Spencer said, "It's pretty cool my friend Andrew's dad is my T-ball coach." Travis agreed, then asked Spencer if he'd like Travis to be a coach. With a big grin Spencer said "Yes!!!!" Travis asked, "Would you listen to me?" and Spencer said, "Yes, I always listen to my coaches!"

I hope we get to see you play some games! Spencer, your dad sure has a lot to teach you about baseball. That would be great if he could be your coach. Don't let him pressure you too much though! :) Have lots of fun and hit that ball hard! Have lots of fun Spencer and Drew!
